Algonquin Provincial Park is just over an hour away. We have fantastic hiking trails, cycling paths, campgrounds, and fishing spots within minutes of downtown.

Compared to Ottawa, Toronto, or even Renfrew, you can get significantly more space, property, and quality of life for your dollar here. Schools, Healthcare, and Amenities
Pembroke is the regional hub of Renfrew County. Algonquin College has a campus here too, which brings a younger energy to the community.

Pembroke is roughly 140 km from Ottawa, which is about a 90-minute drive. Many people commute or visit Ottawa regularly for events, concerts, and specialty shopping while enjoying the peace and affordability of living in Pembroke full-time. It really is the best of both worlds.
